Trioni
Background
Trioni are an organic dairy in West Wales, delivering organic milk and flavoured milk drinks to 250 supermarkets in Wales. They were established in 2002 by three organic farmers and have just celebrated their third birthday.
Their focus is to produce products to help their customers to eat healthily and be healthy. To drink organic milk and milk products is good for you, it's good for the animals and it's good for the environment.
Trioni pride themselves on their high standards and high levels of care for their animals, producing a top quality product that tastes great.
Trioni's Managing Director Laurence Harris met the Bloodhound team at the exhibition, Expo South West. He was so convinced that KOOLTRAK would raise their quality standards that he bought an Intropak there and then, a complete package that gets a business started with temperature logging, data collection, and reporting.
KOOLTRAK Solution
Trioni use the KOOLTRAK temperature monitoring and recording system in their vans. This enables them to keep a track of the refrigeration equipment ensuring that the milk is kept at the right temperature. The temperature loggers track the temperature every 30 minutes and on a regular basis Trioni download the data to ensure that everything is running as it should. In addition the KOOLTRAK data is also useful to check when the drivers are opening the vans doors. This is helpful if retailers query the temperature on delivery and provides a record of this information.
Meredydd Bowen, Administration Officer stated "We really like KOOLTRAK. It is a very good, simple system. There are no wires, just a button, and downloading the information is really easy. Before the KOOLTRAK system was installed we wouldn't know if our refrigeration wasn't working properly until it had actually broken down, now we can pin point when the refrigeration is starting to go wrong and fix it immediately, which means less wasted product.
